A requirement for graduation from the physics department at UCSC is a thesis. At the time, I was fascinated with the theory of suspension bridges and hence completed a thesis analysing the mechanical vibration modes of suspension bridges. Someday, when I have nothing else to do, I'll scan it in. I do however continue to be amazed by suspension bridges of all kinds. Over the years I've amassed quite a collection of photographs of those huge structures. Maybe someday you'll see them here.
