I certainly can't call myself a real Ocean Kayaker (tm), since
I've really only taken a kayak out on the ocean three times, but I
enjoyed it enough to warrant saying that I will take part and continue
learning.
All my paddling has been done in the Monterey Bay. Several places
which rent kayaks in the Monterey Bay area:
