Well, I think it's time to close this burt, but I can't simply close it withput acknowledging, as Dan put it, the camaraderie which exists here at Netapp, the same camaradarie which makes Netapp such a special place to work. My wife and I could not have done it without the help of all the people who selflessly came forward and contributed time, sweat and effort. This was in all respects a team effort. I owe you all a huge debt. I was particularly touched by those people who started at Netapp just recently and with whom I'd barely exchanged a word or two, or whom I hadn't even met; Jeff Latta and Barry Gray, you are my heroes. I'm sure I'll be leaving out some people .... Tony Aiello, for "putting it all together". Ken Hibbard and David Bulfer, for their support, guidance and advice; David's "been there too". Barry Gray, Sheila Reyes-Ortiz (and her daughter), Alan Rowe, Barbara Naden, Scott Gillette, Doug Coatney, Ken Hibbard, Jeff Latta, Wendell Griggs and Susan Dehaan, for packing up; the "band of renegades". Tony Aiello, Herman Lee, Keith Son, Jamil Ahmad, Doug Coatney, Steve Parsons, Wayne Booth, Wendell Griggs, Vikas Sinha, John Lloyd and Mel McGee, for packing up "part 2". Doug Coatney, Wendell Griggs and Scott Gillette, for being my chauffeurs. All the countless friendly faces who visited me in the hospital and brightened my day(s). Steve Kleiman's "I'm concerned" comment and Chris Peak's additions to the burt had me laughing so hard my ribs hurt. Carl Baker, for finishing the fencing project I started the day before I was hit. Carl doesn't work at Netapp, but I can't help acknowledging his sacrifice. His family was moving the week after. And of course my wife, Kathryn Kawasaki, my soul mate and best friend. You're all an inspiration to me; you make Netapp a place not just of employment, but a family. I humbly bow to you and thank you from the bottom of my heart. Copyright (c) 2000, Radek Aster
